FL Technics is adding Airbus 319/320/321 to its capability list
FL Technics, one of the leading aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) providers in Eastern Europe and CIS, is finishing to acquire Airbus 319/320/321 family licence for line and base maintenance, including D check. The technical team of “FL Technics” has finished practical trainings last week and now is back for a peak-season works to hangars in Vilnius. The acquired equipment for Airbus is already on its way to Vilnius. Management of the company estimates to get the final licence from Lithuanian authorities by the end of 2010.
„Earlier this year shareholders approved the comprehensive USD 25 million long term investment programs for the 2010-2015 period. The directions of this program are based on expansion of number of line maintenance bases, new products, including spare parts products and on assimilation of new types for aircraft and expansion of production capacities for base maintenance. So following this long term investment program we are adding Airbus 320 family to our list"- says Jonas Butautis, CEO of FL Technics.
According to J. Butautis before the end of the first quarter of 2011, “FL Technics” will be fully ready with spare parts products for Airbus 320 family. Together with other ongoing processes – licensing and training of technical team - FL Technics is also acquiring Airbus 320 aircraft for scrap and increasing the pool of its spare parts in Vilnius. Parts of the pool will be kept closer to customers, preferably in Russia and Kazakhstan.
“FL Technics provides spare parts and component supply products including PBH solutions for Boeing 737 CL, Boeing 757 for a several years. We want to satisfy our customers’ needs from the very beginning, serving new aircraft type and are working on the whole solution, including spare parts products and engineering support. We will be one of the few companies, which will have a pool of Airbus 320 spare parts in Russia”- says J. Butautis.
