Acquisition of Storm Aviation
Last Friday FL Technics signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% of Storm Aviation. Storm Aviation is a UK-based independent Line Maintenance provider, one of the largest line maintenance organisations in Europe. It currently operates 14 Line Stations in UK and across Europe. The company employs around 100 people and has a wide range of Part 145 capabilities.This newly signed agreement will expand FL Technics maintenance capacity, product range, improve service quality and list of capabilities by providing integrated aircraft maintenance and repair services solutions for B737, B747, B757, B767, B777, A300, A310, A320s, A330, A340, A380, ATR 42/72, BAE146/Avro146-RJ, Emb135/145, Fokker70/100, MD80. The customers, serviced by Storm Aviation include Etihad, British Airways, Emirates, EasyJet, Wizzair, Aeroflot, Transaero, TNT, BMIBaby, Lufthansa, SAS, etc.

The plan is to combine existing FL Technics Line Stations with Storm Aviation Stations and create one of the largest network of independent line stations across Europe and CIS countries (more than 25 stations after some existing projects are implemented).
Acquisition process is planned to be fully completed on the final days of September.
